i like it but what i ment is make the chat box alot smaller and then add skills errors and the reasoning sections at the top border

The visual chat UI can accept typed messages, but it does not yet connect to the real Hermes assistant.

Possible fix

Add a local backend with endpoints for chat, skills, memory, activity, and errors. Then connect the frontend buttons to those endpoints.

Reasoning is summary-only

The app should show activity traces and reasoning summaries, not private hidden chain-of-thought text.

Store a clear response summary, tool list, file changes, and verification steps for each prompt and response.
